Inspired by the rich colors of the Southern Arizona Desert, Vintage Tonala Mexican pottery, and an adorable pet bunny named Mr. Tilly, artist Debbie Gallerani has created the most love-able bunch of jackrabbits this side of the Rio Grande. Each rabbit sculpture is filled with a handful of Arizona rocks so they’ll always have a bit of home in them. The bodies are formed with wire and paper maché. A top layer of air-dry stone clay is added, then each rabbit is uniquely sculpted and and hand-painted, creating it’s own clever personality. The final touch is a kiss on the nose of these adorable little guys, who are quickly hopping into the hearts and homes of collectors nationwide.
